Sweetness Bakery Austin has been the lifelong dream of Owner and Executive Pastry Chef Elva Caballero. 

After 20 years of working in non-profit education, Elva left her job and enrolled in Le Cordon Bleu in Dallas. She spent the next several years perfecting her craft and working at several top bakeries in Dallas and Austin. 

In November 2014, Elva and her daughter Vanessa opened Sweetness Bakery Austin. The name 'Sweetness' comes from her daughter, who she always called 'Ness'.
